This video demonstrates the power of flash and RIM’s BlackBerry Playbook’s browser capabilities in general and flash and video capability in particular. Browser embedded video playback has been demonstrated not only for Flash based Youtube videos but for embedded mp4 videos on Facebook and even HTML 5 videos like videojs.com player.

Word Target by Pepper.pk reviewed by Ovi Blog

Nokia Ovi official blog has reviewed word-target as a top-app and they say it has an edge over Scrabble and Boggle. The app has been selling on Ovi store for a while now targeting Nokia’s touchscreen devices. This is what the reviewer has to say:

I enjoy word games like Scrabble and I love Boggle, but for sheer convenience and fun Word Target from Pakistani developer Pepper.pk might have an edge on both of them. Word Target does the same thing–tap into your imaginative ability to see words within a random collection of letters.

Blackberry Leaks- BBs from the Future!

This week the world has seen several BlackBerry phones from the future. The phones that you’ll get to see in this post include the BlackBerry Torch 2, Storm 3, yet another Curve and last but not least, BlackBerry Dakota. We know about storms, curves and torches but Dakota is a different phone in a sense that it brings the non-slide qwerty keyboard with a touch-screen as well. Here come the details:

Want an iPhone but don’t want AT&T?

Well if you have not heard this already, we are just ten minutes away from an official announcement of an iPhone launch on Verizon. There are a lot of speculations, projections and tech/non-tech talk regarding the announcement, but it will for sure increase iPhone’s share in the market. Is this a great way of competing with already leading android OS share in US market? Only time will tell.

According to a report on Bloomberg TV, 80% of AT&T customers are using an iPhone and we may see a flow of existing AT&T users to Verizon. Moreover, those who didn’t get an iPhone yet just because they don’t like AT&T may also jump on to the Apple smart-phone wagon to get a ride on iPhone craze.

Android based Playstation phone caught on videos

SonyEricsson’s Android based PSP phone caught on video for us. This is really exciting to finally see a phone with dedicated gaming keys. Playing games on touchscreen is fun but the conventional gaming keys have a lot of value. The phone has the four direction keys, four action keys conventionally found on the PSP and a few more controls. The touchscreen, accelerometer and orientation sensing adds loads of value on top of the Android operating system.

BlackBerry app world seen on Playbook

BlackBerry app world on PlaybookRIM has already announced that Playbook apps will be distributed via App-World. Vendors have been given an interface for publishing apps for App-World already. Now we got to see a leaked shot of App-World running on RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook.
